WHS graduate and KAKE News anchor Annette Lawless named 40 under 40 WBJ recipient

Sumner Newscow report — On Tuesday KAKE News’ anchor/reporter and Wellington High School graduate Annette Lawless was honored as one of Wichita’s 40 under 40 by the Wichita Business Journal.
Each nominee was presented with their award in a ceremony hosted by the Wichita Business Journal. Annette was recognized for her volunteer work in the community and for her work on ‘Missing in Kansas.’
In order to be nominated, nominees must be residents of the greater Wichita area, and under the age of 40 as of April 1. Nominees were evaluated on leadership, community involvement and contributions to their organizations.
