William J. Brown

William “Bill” Brown of Belle Plaine died on May 1, 2022.

He was a unique and amazing father, brother, uncle, and fiancé. Bill was born May 3, 1961, in Wichita, to Billy Dean and Irma Jean Brown of Derby.

William had a lifelong passion for fishing, rock music, 4-wheeling, cooking, gardening, and sports. He loved adventure, everything space exploration, and working on his passion project of a cabin on the side of a Colorado mountain with his fiancé Veronica.

Bill’s greatest joy was having two sons with his high school sweetheart Debora Fosberg. Bill was an amazing father and taught his sons William and Matthew about chivalry, strength, and how to act as upstanding members of the community.

He lived life on his terms until the end. We will always love you “Billy Hard Rock”. Bill was preceded in death by his father Billy Dean Brown and his mother Irma Jean Brown. He is survived by his sister Carla Brown, his sons Matthew and William Brown, his daughter-in-law Jennifer Brown, his grandchildren Alexis and Emily Brown, his nephew Remington Brown, and his fiancé Veronica Goodman.
