The Wellington Humane Society pet of the week is Winter.

Sumner Newscow report — The Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week is Winter!

Winter is just a year and a half old and has been at the shelter for 200 days! Her personality is more laid back than other cats. She is super sweet and friendly and loves to be petted! She would prefer lounging around all day rather than getting into trouble. So, if you are interested in a quiet companion to hang out with, then Winter is your girl! She gets along with other cats and has enjoyed being in the cat colony at the shelter. She has two siblings who are still here as well.

Stop in this week to meet this special cat! We are open Wednesday through Friday 3-7 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you are interested in adoption, please fill out the online application before you come in to speed up the adoption process. The WHS officials go in order of application received, so the sooner peple get in your application, the better! And don’t forget, the Pet of the Week has a discounted adoption fee of $10 off cats during their week!
