Newscow report — Lexi Zavala has been selected as one of only 16 individuals in Kansas to be a junior counselor at the 2013 Summer Student Council Workshop at Emporia State University.

The 16 “junior counselors” are chosen from high school seniors who have served on their school’s council, have attended this workshop in the past, and have been recommended by their high school administration.  Lexi was a senior at Wellington High School and served as student council president her senior year.
