City of Wellington dog tags are now available
Sumner Newscow report — As a reminder, the City of Wellington dog tags are now available for 2021.
The cost is $3 for spayed or neutered or $6 for unaltered dogs. To avoid a penalty, buy before March 1, 2021. Tags may be purchased only at City Hall. You must have proof of the dog’s rabies vaccination date. Should your dog be picked up for running-at-large and does not have a tag, the dog may be put down without the owner’s being identified and be subject to a fine. For all questions please contact Heidi Theurer, City Clerk at 620-326-2811.
