Education Spotlight: Aviation VR Headsets

Sarah House was present to update the board on the high school’s Aviation class, now in its third year. She also brought a set of VR Headsets that students use for hands-on training in the classroom. The curriculum the class uses for aviation mechanics is Choose Aerospace, and since WHS was the first adopter in the state of Kansas, people get to try these out for them. These benefit our students by giving them hands-on experience with lessons we don’t have the tools to do in the classroom.
