Letter to Editor: Wellington Health and Rehab is glad to be here
To the editor:
I’m writing to let you and the entire Wellington community know how excited we are to be managing and operating Wellington Health and Rehab (formerly Sumner County Care Center). It is a welcome addition to the Mission Health Communities family and we look forward to bringing a new brand of quality healthcare and rehabilitation to the area.
As a premier provider of Senior Living and Skilled Rehabilitation Communities in the southeast and midwest, Mission Health is committed to delivering on our promise of wellness and enrichment.
That’s one of the reasons why our communities have been recognized for their excellence with awards from the American Health Care Association (AHCA) as well as other healthcare organizations. This means you can be assured that at Wellington Health and Rehab, our “mission†is to provide residents with the highest quality healthcare and services possible – and for employees to offer a supportive work environment where hard work is expected, recognized and applauded.
In the coming months, our plans are to make a number of improvement at Wellington Health and Rehab. These changes will include both healthcare programming and renovation and equipment upgrades – all designed to benefit both residents and employees. At Mission Health, we believe that change can be a very good thing and we’re looking forward to not only facilitating positive changes at Wellington Health and Rehab, but also getting to know and becoming a vital part of the community.
Stuart Lindeman
President and CEO of Mission Health Communities.
