Sarah Irene Alley, 83, of Southport, North Carolina, died on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at her home.

Memorial Services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, October 30, 2015 at Oxford Funeral Service Chapel. Inurnment will be at the Oxford Cemetery. No visitation is scheduled. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established with the Humane Society and may be left with Oxford Funeral Service 104 N. Sumner. Mrs. Alley was born September 20, 1932 in Blackwell, Oklahoma the daughter of the late Walter and Elizabeth Flick. She loved her daughters, son-in-law, and her dogs. Mrs. Alley had lived all over the United States, was active in her churches, and will be missed by her family, and friends. She was an excellent cook and a die-hard University of Kansas Jayhawks basketball fan. Mrs. Alley was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Gene Richard Alley; two brothers and three sisters.

Surviving are her two daughters, Judy Tillman and husband Dan, and Jeri Robinson all of Southport, North Carolina; and a brother James Flick and wife Nina of Oakley, Kansas.
