SRMC Surgeon Gregg Shore resigns; effective Dec. 9

Sumner Newscow report — On Monday November 9, General Surgeon Dr. Gregg Shore tendered his resignation at Sumner Regional Medical Center effective December 9.  He will be doing surgery until December 6th.
Dr. Shore has been employed with Sumner Regional since January 2014 and specialized in general surgery, colorectal surgery, ulcerative colitis and Chrohn’s disease.
Interim CEO/CFO Barry Harding is working with the Health Care Authority board and the local physicians on finding surgical coverage for SRMC. More information will be announced when it is decided.
