These are formal charges introduced into the Sumner County District Court system. The suspects listed in the complaint have not been tried by a judge or jury unless specified otherwise. All citizens are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

State of Kansas vs. Dennis Michael McDonough
Case Number: SU-2024-CR-000244. Year of Birth: 1955.
Address: Mulvane. Date of the alleged crime: July 20, 2024.
1 — Sexual battery, Class A misdemeanor.
Description: McDonough is accused of exposing himself and conducting in inappropriate sexual activity with a woman, who did not consent to such actions.

State of Kansas vs. Shannon Renee Noyes
Case Number: SU-2024-CR-000245. Year of Birth: 1997.
Address: Wellington. Date of the alleged crime: August 25, 2024.
1 — Battery, Class B misdemeanor.
Description: Noyes is accused of pulling the hair of another inmate at the Sumner County jail.

State of Kansas vs. Kathy Loraine Lusk
Case Number: SU-2024-CR-000246. Year of Birth: 1955.
Address: Mulvane. Date of the alleged crime: Sept. 3, 2024.
1 — Domestic battery, Class B misdemeanor.
Description: Lusk is accused of shoving her husband during an argument.

State of Kansas vs. Joseph Henry Regnier
Case Number: SU-2024-CR-000247. Year of Birth: 1997.
Address: Arkansas City. Date of the alleged crime: Sept. 3, 2024.
1 — Burglary of a non-dwelling, level 7 felony.
2 — Attempted theft, level 9 felony.
3 — Theft, Class A misdemeanor.
Description: Regnier is accused of entering a concession stand at Mid-America Drag Strip through the window and consuming multiple food items—i.e., Reeses, Doritos with cheese, and drinks—from within. He exited the concession stand and allegedly started a street sweeper valued at $30,000. According to the complaint report, he drove it 100 feet before being interrupted by the drag strip general manager.

State of Kansas vs. Christopher Damien Pruett
Case Number: SU-2024-CR-000248. Year of Birth: 1986.
Address: Wellington. Date of the alleged crime: Sept. 2, 2024.
1 — Domestic battery, Class B misdemeanor.
2 — Attempted Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon, level 9 felony.
3 — Criminal restraint, Class A misdemeanor.
4 — Interference with law enforcement, Class A misdemeanor.
Description: Pruett is accused of shoving his wife down onto a couch. He then allegedly obtained a firearm and placed it on the bed as a threatening gesture. According to the complaint, the woman jumped on his back to restrain him until one of her children was able to take the firearm away. After allegedly pushing his wife down on the couch, Pruett restrained her until one of the children interrupted his actions. He also allegedly fought law enforcement, who were called to the scene, by banging around the patrol vehicle, slamming his head against the plexiglass barrier, refusing the booking process, and yelling fighting words at the officers.

Case Number: SU-2024-CR-000249. Year of Birth: 1988.
Address: Wellington. Date of the alleged crime: Sept. 7, 2024.
1 — Burglary of a dwelling, level 7 felony.
Description: Zimmerman is accused of being caught by the homeowner at 208 North A Street in Wellington after gathering several household items and staging them by the door.

Case Number: SU-2024-CR-000250. Year of Birth: 1978.
Address: Wichita. Date of the alleged crime: March 24, 2024.
1 — Possession of drug paraphernalia for use, Class B misdemeanor.
2 — Driving while suspended, Class B misdemeanor.
3 — No proof of insurance, Class B misdemeanor.
4 — Possession of methamphetamine, drug level 5 felony.
Description: Turner is accused of having a black fanny pack containing a headphone case with a clear bag inside that include methamphetamine in his vehicle after a traffic stop.

State of Kansas vs. Thomas Bruce Guthery Jr.
Case Number: SU-2024-CR-000251. Year of Birth: 1961.
Address: Wichita. Date of the alleged crime: Aug. 16, 2024.
1 — Sexual battery, Class A misdemeanor.
Description: Guthery is accused of grabbing the buttocks of a server at a restaurant without her consent.

State of Kansas vs. Sergio Antonio Valenzuela
Case Number: SU-2024-CR-000252. Year of Birth: 1994.
Address: De Soto. Date of the alleged crime: August 18, 2024.
1 — Possession of THC, Class B misdemeanor.
2 — Possession of drug paraphernalia for use, Class B misdemeanor.
Description: Valenzuela is accused of possessing various items of THC, including five cartridges and infused edibles. He also allegedly possessed a glass smoking pipe.

State of Kansas vs. Michael Allen Clark
Case Number: SU-2024-CR-000253. Year of Birth: 2000.
Address: Wellington. Date of the alleged crime: Sept. 4, 2024.
1 — Unlawful request for emergency services, Class A misdemeanor.
Description: Clark is accused of contacting police to report he had been the victim of a burglary and then was sexually battered. According to the complaint, upon investigation, it was determined that the defendant had invited the alleged perpetrator to his home and invited her in but no such actions took place. His motivation for making the false report is unknown, the complaint read.

State of Kansas vs. Davieon Ingram
Case Number: SU-2024-CR-000254. Year of Birth: 2004.
Address: Fort Worth, Texas. Date of the alleged crime: Aug. 16, 2024.
1 — Possession of marijuana, Class B misdemeanor.
2 — Possession of drug paraphernalia for use, Class B misdemeanor.
3 — Vehicle registration violation, unclassified misdemeanor.
4 — Speeding (Construction zone/fine double), an infraction.
Description: Ingram is accused of speeding in a construction zone and was stopped at a traffic stop while possessing marijuana in a plastic bag. He also had an expired driver’s license.

Case Number: SU-2024-CR-000255. Year of Birth: 1981.
Address: Wellington Date of the alleged crime: Sept. 9, 2024.
1 — Aggravated domestic battery, level 7 felony.
2 — Domestic battery, Class B misdemeanor.
Description: Broyles is accused during an argument with his girlfriend of grabbing her in an angry manner by the neck, leaving marks that were consistent with her being choked.

Case Number: SU-2024-CR-000256. Year of Birth: 1988.
Address: Hunnewell. Date of the alleged crime: Sept. 12, 2024.
1 — Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, level 7 felony.
Description: Chitwood is accused of possessing a U-bolt, as metal knuckles, and chasing the victim while threatening him.

State of Kansas vs. Terrell Jack Brumley
Case Number: SU-2024-CR-000257. Year of Birth: 1986.
Address: Anthony. Date of the alleged crime: Sept. 4, 2024.
1 — Burglary of a dwelling/firearm, level 5 felony.
2 — Criminal property damage, Class B misdemeanor.
3 — Theft ($1,500 – $25,000 value) level 9 felony.
4 — Theft of firearm, level 9 felony.
5 — Burglary of a non-dwelling, level 7 felony.
Description: Brumley is accused of entering the victim’s home and taking an American Tactical AR-15 and scope, valued at $800. He also allegedly entered the residence at 144 W. 80th St. in Wellington by breaking in and causing damage to the back door and trim. He also allegedly took a Yeti Cooler, a tool crate containing Milwaukee and DeWalt Power tools, a John Deere ZTR mower, aluminum tramps, six sets of golf clubs, and a subwoofer. He also broke into the outbuilding and took the power tools.

Case Number: SU-2024-CR-000258. Year of Birth: 1991.
Address: Ruston, La. Date of the alleged crime: Sept. 7, 2024.
1 — Possession of marijuana, Class B misdemeanor.
2 — Possession of drug paraphernalia for use, Class B misdemeanor.
3 — Speeding, traffic infraction.
Description: Hargrove is accused of possessing a quantity of marijuana and a plastic bag after being caught speeding. Hargrove allegedly was speeding 95 miles per hour in a 75 mph zone.

State of Kansas vs. Jeffrey Todd Leggett
Case Number: SU-2024-CR-000259. Year of Birth: 1969.
Address: Geuda Springs. Date of the alleged crime: Sept. 13, 2024.
1 — Criminal trespass, Class B misdemeanor.
Description: Leggett is accused of entering the Oxford USD 358 school grounds without permission during school hours and being disruptive. According to the complaint, he was reminded of this trespass a few days later and, despite this, came to the OHS football game on school grounds in violation of the lawful order not to do so.

Case Number: SU-2024-CR-000260. Year of Birth: 1985.
Address: Caldwell. Date of the alleged crime: Sept. 13, 2024.
1 — Battery, Class B misdemeanor.
2 — Battery, Class B misdemeanor.
3 — Battery, Class B misdemeanor.
4 — Interference with law enforcement, Class A misdemeanor.
Description: Baker is accused of using his right elbow to the face of a patron at the Bluff Creek Distillery. When he was allegedly escorted out of the bar, the defendant struck another patron in the face with a closed fist. He then allegedly walked to Joe B’s Bar and elbowed a third person in the left shoulder and upper arm area. When law enforcement was called to investigate the multiple batteries, Baker allegedly resisted arrest and was disorderly during the transport to the jail.

State of Kansas vs. Kayla Lynn Lujan
Case Number: SU-2024-CR-000261. Year of Birth: 1988.
Address: Wellington. Date of the alleged crime: Sept. 11, 2024.
1 — Contributing to a child’s misconduct or deprivation, Class A misdemeanor.
Description: Lujan is accused of allowing a minor child to become chronically truant, as the child had not attended schooling since August 29, creating a potential child in need of care situation.

State of Kansas vs. Deric Chance Hibbs
Case Number: SU-2024-CR-000262. Year of Birth: 1989.
Address: Mayfield. Date of the alleged crime: Aug. 29, 2024.
1 — Theft ($25,000 – $100,000), level 7 felony.
2 — Criminal property damage, level 9 felony.
3 — Theft, level 7 felony.
4 — Criminal property damage, Class B misdemeanor.
5 — Theft ($1,500 – $25,000), level 9 felony.
6 — Criminal property damage, level 9 felony.
7 — Criminal property damage, Class B misdemeanor.
Description: Hibbs is accused of taking a 1997 Peterbilt truck valued at $100,000. While he had possession of said truck, Hibbls allegedly caused extensive damage to it, including damage to the fender, undercarriage, and brush guard. He then allegedly took a Hi-Rail truck valued at greater than $1,000 but less than $25,000 from South Central Hydraulic, where the truck was allegedly being repaired. After it was recovered, the vehicle suffered damage to its mirrors.
Then, Hibbs allegedly stole an antique M-M818 military-style truck valued at more than $1,500 but less than $25,000. While in his possession, Hibbs allegedly took off the axle, shredded a tire, and damaged the undercarriage to more than $1,000 but less than $25,000.
He is also accused of using the Peterbilt semi to strike a mailbox belonging to Jason Nuss and destroying it.
