Tegan Murae Kemmerer, 33, Wellington: Sept. 28, 1989 – Nov. 6, 2022

Tegan Kemmerer

Tegan Murae Kemmerer died on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at the age of 33.

She was born the daughter of Thomas Michael Barringer and Kim Murae Boland on September 28, 1989, in Pomona, California.

Tegan was full of love and energy. She was a bit shy but didn’t know a stranger, and she saw the best in everyone. Tegan had a huge heart. She was a provider, R.N. and caretaker. Even at the tender age of 16, she enjoyed caring for people. Tegan loved to have fun with her children. They have fond memories of her writing them letters, waking them up in the morning blasting music and jumping on their beds, watching them play football, calling and texting to check on them and to tell them to “Have a good day.”

She was excited to see them and liked taking them to places like the mall, the pool to swim, and to Sonic; she loved Sonic ice. Tegan made it a point to have fun in the car with family. She always told people how lucky she was to have such wonderful kids. Her children and her family will miss her dearly.

Tegan is survived by her four children: Dannika Murae, Kross James, Kash Kingston-Rae and Kriesy John; her mother, Kim Boland; her father, Tom Barringer; her sisters: Madison, Taylor, Jordan and Lotus and her grandma, Jeanie Boland.

She is preceded in death by her grandpa, Bud Boland; step-father, Steve Schmidt and grandparents, Dick and Judy Barringer.

There will be no services for Tegan at this time. Please consider making a contribution to the Kemmerer Children’s Memorial Fund c/o Farmway Credit Union, 200 S. Hersey Ave, Beloit, KS 67420.
