Sumner Newscow report — Wellington has a new downtown business. The Gettin Place had their ribbon cutting today at 1o6 N. Washington Ave. in the building that former bookstore building, north of The Gold Corner. The Gettin Place has clothing accessories, handmade cowhide items, purses, Snappy Chicks jewelry and much, much more.

Those at the Wellington Area Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting are from left to right: Chamber ambassador Sunni Bales, Deb Moses, husband Landon Petersen, owner Kisten Petersen, Chamber ambassador Karen Murray, Chamber Executive Director Annarose White, Chamber ambassador Vivian Hay and Chamber ambassador Perry Wiley. Come check out the new digs. They are open late on Thursdays.
