Sumner Newscow report — The Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week is Milo!

Beat the summer heat with one of the chillest cats at the shelter—Milo! This handsome 9-month-old medium-haired tabby is as cool as they come. With his adorable long ear tufts, oversized paws, and laid-back vibe, Milo is the perfect companion for lazy afternoons and quiet evenings.

Whether he’s lounging in a sunny window or curling up for a cozy nap, Milo knows how to take life at his own purrfect pace. He’s affectionate without being needy, playful without being wild—a mellow little gentleman ready to melt into your heart.

If you’re looking for a low-key feline friend to keep you company this summer (and beyond), come meet Milo. He’s ready to chill with you, forever. Adopt Milo and add some cool to your crew.

Stop in this week to meet this special pet. The shelter is open on Wednesday through Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you are interested in adoption, please complete the online application before entering to speed up the adoption process. WHS officials process applications in the order they are received, so the sooner you submit your application, the better. And don’t forget, the Pet of the Week has a discounted adoption fee of $10 off pets during their week!
