Sumner Newscow report — The Wellington Daylight Donuts Shop celebrated its grand re-opening today.
The Donut Shop, a downtown institution, changed ownership in April when Roger and Brenda Brownlee bought the donut shop from Wendell Freeman. On Saturday, they had themselves a blowout reopening with $5 donuts, free donut holes, door prizes and gift certificates. The ribbon cutting ceremony followed with a large contingency of family and friends in attendance.
