Wellington has had 2.17 inches of rain since the Newscow drought story
Precipitation table for the past six days.
Sumner Newscow report — A week ago this Wednesday, Sumner Newscow wrote an article about the drought (see story here). The article was about the unusually dry conditions we have been having and how it appears it will remain dry for some time.
Well, it has been raining ever since! In the past six days, Sumner County has received some form of precipitation on five of those days for 2.17 inches of precipitation total. That doesn’t include the rainfall for today. And there is a chance of 65 percent chance we will be getting more on Thursday.
We here at Sumner Newscow just want to say: You are welcome!
