Sumner Newscow report — The Wellington Humane Society Shelter Pet of the Week is Pulled Pork!

Yes, you read that right… meet Pulled Pork! Pulled Pork is an adorable 5-month-old kitten who came to us after sadly losing his mother. Thankfully, one of our wonderful mama cats had kittens around the same age and lovingly welcomed this little guy into her family.

Pulled Pork thrived with his new mom and siblings, and now he’s ready for the next chapter — finding a forever family of his very own!

This sweet boy absolutely loves attention and is currently having the time of his life playing in a colony full of kittens. He gets along great with other cats and would love a home where he can get plenty of affection, playtime, and snuggles.

Stop in this week to meet this special pet. The shelter is open on Wednesday through Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you are interested in adoption, please complete the online application before entering to speed up the adoption process. WHS officials process applications in the order they are received, so the sooner you submit your application, the better. And don’t forget, the Pet of the Week has a discounted adoption fee of $10 off pets during their week!
