Sumner Newscow report — The Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week is Odin!

Odin is a 3-year-old former street cat turned indoor gentleman. Humane Society officials aren’t sure what happened to him, but he came to them with either an old injury or a birth defect that left him without one of his eyes. The good news? It doesn’t slow him down one bit!

Odin may be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he absolutely loves attention. He’s a mild-mannered sweetheart who will happily become your shadow and constant companion. During his 80+ days with WHS, they have seen just how loving and affectionate Odin truly is — and he can never get enough pets!

This handsome boy is more than ready to trade shelter life for a cozy home and a family to call his own. Could Odin be your perfect buddy?

Stop in this week to meet this special pet. The shelter is open on Wednesday through Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you are interested in adoption, please complete the online application before entering to speed up the adoption process.

WHS officials process applications in the order they are received, so the sooner you submit your application, the better. And don’t forget, the Pet of the Week has a discounted adoption fee of $10 off pets during their week!
