Wellington, Kansas makes national newscast for oddball cat law!
by Tracy McCue, Sumner Newscow — Obviously Wellington, Kansas is getting some national recognition for its new law about limiting the number of cats per household.
In this morning’s broadcast on “Good Morning America,” a segment ran about new oddball laws being passed across the United States. In this segment, ABC News felt Wellington’s new cat law was worthy mentioning in the “bizarre” list including other laws like $1,000 fine for popping a wheelie on your motorcycle while speeding among others and flashing motorists warning people of speed traps ahead.
