Wellington Public Library offers free gift-wrapping station, special December activities
by Amber Countryman, Sumner Newscow — The Wellington Public Library is again offering a free Do-It-Yourself gift-wrapping station to the community Dec. 1-20. This is the sixth year they have provided this free community service.
In years past, Dillons has generously donated gift-wrapping supplies left over after Christmas. This helps continue to make this free community service successful.
Choose your wrapping paper, bows, and tags! Be creative! All materials are provided free of charge. There is no limit on how many gifts you can bring to wrap.
If you’d rather have someone else wrap your gifts for you, consider coming by the library Tuesday, Dec. 12, from 4-8 p.m. or Saturday, Dec. 17, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. For a suggested donation of $2 per package, library staff members will wrap your gifts for you.
