Wednesday’s lunch — Bean and Cheese Burrito, Romaine and Tomato, Corn, Chilled Pears, Tortilla Chips with Salsa and Milk

Nate Ybarra

*Congratulations to Nate Ybarra who participated in Regional Piano last weekend and received a one rating. Now he will compete in the State Piano Festival this month! Yay Nate!!

*Please come support National Honor Society and the Crusaders tonight for the Patti Sober Memorial Scholarship Fundraising Dinner beginning at 5:00 during the game at WHS. Dinner includes 2 tacos, beans, chips, salsa and a cookie for $6.

*NHS will meet Thursday morning at 7:30 a.m. in the auditorium.

*Seniors- There will be a shortened schedule on Friday due to the pep assembly- Please plan accordingly.

*Seniors: If you are enrolling in a Christian College or University, please either stop by the counselor’s office or go on the counselors website for the application for the Sibyl Wells Scholarship. The deadline for this scholarship is March 1st. You will turn in the completed application into the counselor’s office.

*The Homecoming Coronation will take place following the boys basketball game on Friday, February 12th. The homecoming dance will be immediately afterward. You can pre-order tickets for the dance during lunch this week for $3, or pay $5 at the door. There is a song suggestion box in Ms. Vaughn’s room. You can turn in suggestions until Wednesday. You can sign-up out of town dates in the office. They need to be signed up by Thursday.

*Has Valentine’s Day snuck up on you this year? Do you want to get something special for that special someone? Are you just craving a cookie? The leadership class will be selling Valentine’s day cookie grams during lunch today and tomorrow to be delivered on Friday February 12th.

*Just a reminder- Please remember to donate to the Eisenhower shoe drive. You can put new or gently used shoes in the big orange box in the commons.
