Newscow.net report — A Winfield High School student died Thursday evening after falling ill at the school.

Around 5 p.m., emergency crews responded to a medical call at WHS. A patient was eventually transported from the school and an air ambulance was summoned.

That person underwent medical treatment but later died, according to those that know her.

Her identity has not been made public, so far, but friends said her name was Taylor Murphy. She was a high school cheerleader.
